2018
We added C.C. and Cowboy to the program to keep up with student growth. With our 4 horses, we did approximately 10-14 lessons a week and added some exceptional students. We went to a couple horse shows and had a very successful turnout.
The garden had another amazing season as we grew carrots, blueberries, tomatoes, cabbage, squash, peas, broccoli, cauliflower and avocados. The chicken coop was built and we have 9 thriving chickens that we love to share our eggs from. The students love planting, cultivating and harvesting all of the goodies the farm has to offer.
2019
Taffy went to school to learn to pull a cart with Louise Blankenship for 5 months. She is sure to add more depth in the amount and variety of riders we can serve.
We had a very successful show season with our students competing both English and Western at Canterbury Open Shows in leadline, trail, walk jog, and bareback classes. We did the once a month series from January to July, having 7 riders at the last show. Lots of progress happened this Spring!!
Brooke taught lessons until August and is now taking a maternity leave for her second baby due this October. She is going to resume lessons November 2019 after baby is born.
